The Traffic Specialist is the point-person for all requests submitted to the Creative Services team. This seasoned professional has proven abilities to assess, process, and develop production schedules for a wide variety of projects, including print, digital, social, events, video, and multi-channel campaigns. The Traffic Specialist is responsible for monitoring and managing complex project schedules, identifying and resolving issues, shifting assignments schedules to keep timelines on track. Must have strong decision-making and prioritization skills and the ability to identify and manage creative resources based on competencies, experience, and capacity.

Accountable for bridging the communication between Account Managers and Creatives to ensure streamlined and successful projects. This role requires the ability to translate requests into actionable assignments from business partners to enable development of on-target creative with the greatest time and cost efficiency. Proven project management, communication, and collaboration skills are required.


Required Work Experience
  •  7 years project management experience at an agency or inhouse creative services organization

  • Serve as primary point-person for Creative Services, overseeing the project request queue, assessing the information provided, and scheduling and prioritizing requests to meet business needs
  • Develop detailed creative execution schedules and set deadlines for various milestones of a project timeline
  • Manage and monitor project schedules, keeping assignments on-track, monitoring workloads, adjusting assignments and deadlines accordingly
  • Monitor and manage internal and external resources’ capacity, tracking schedules, monitoring workload, and shifting assignments as needed
  • Successfully complete multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment
  • Delegate assignments to creative team members and other departments, depending on their availability and priorities
  • Meet with business partners to learn more about new project details and give progress updates on existing projects; communicating important business information and requirements to multiple teams
  • Collaborate with account teams to scope project requirements; estimate hours and costs, and create detailed project plans; manage and prioritize inbound projects
  • Identify resources needed to fulfill projects, and manage the flexible pool of internal and external creatives to assign the right talent to the right work
  • Work with freelancers and contractors and ensure they have the resources needed for their job
  • Help make sure creative reviews and revisions from clients are handled efficiently and accurately


Required Job Skills

  • 7 years project management experience at an agency or inhouse creative services organization
  • Deep understanding of the creative process and creative skill set
  • Expert knowledge of project workflow software, WorkFront ideal (Workamajig, Basecamp, etc.)

  • Ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized, resourceful and accountable individual

Required Leadership Experience and Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Proven track record of creating workflows, communication processes, and data tracking
