This position is remote/hybrid within the state of AZ only.  This remote/hybrid work opportunity requires residency, and work to be performed, within the State of Arizona.

Identifies, plans, develops, facilitates, maintains, and evaluates leadership and professional development training. Provides input regarding succession planning, mentoring, and leadership/high-potential development. Leads projects and project teams in support of organizational or management development goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

LEVEL 1 · Facilitate entry-level training courses as assigned on management, professional development, leadership, and other topic areas · Demonstrate understanding of content and objectives, their importance, and how they relate to participants · Develop working relationships with subject matter experts to ensure current knowledge of the organization · Maintain project files in accordance with department standards · Use various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles based on adult learning theory/practices · Provide performance feedback to participants and their management, conduct level 1-2 evaluation · Perform review and revisions to existing training materials using the ADDIE model, or similar

LEVEL 2 · Facilitate mid-level training courses as assigned on management, professional development, leadership, and other topic areas

· Apply a variety of learning technologies/methods to address learning needs · Develop course materials such as course objectives, content outlines, and facilitator/participant guides using ADDIE or similar process

· Basic understanding of process to create online learning using tools such as Storyline, and/or Captivate

· Apply learning metrics (levels 1-3 evaluation of training) to training courses and reinforcement strategies

· Deliver team building sessions and activities · Apply basic coaching skills in the classroom and one-on-one

· Provide cross-training support to Level 1 training specialists

· Coordinate/lead projects as assigned, participate on project teams as needed · Demonstrate basic understanding of change management process and tools

LEVEL 3 · Facilitate advanced training courses as assigned on management, professional development, leadership, and other topic areas

· Apply intermediate coaching skills for most leadership levels

· Develop content outlines and teaching/delivery methodology(s) and revise as necessary using the ADDIE process, or similar

· Consult with leadership to conduct and recommend performance improvement interventions using appropriate assessment tools

· Assist with development and implementation of performance improvement tactics/programs

· Design and implement reinforcement strategies to ensure application · Certified change management practitioner

· Advise training staff and management of status/results of training, special projects, or team building activities

LEVEL 4 · Develop and implement level 3 through 5 evaluation methods, as appropriate · Incorporate advanced technologies and practices into new and existing courses · Apply advanced coaching skills for all levels of leadership · Provide trainers with performance feedback during classroom training · Support activities related to succession planning and talent development activities · Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills in change management for teams and organizations.

ALL LEVELS

· Each progressive level includes the ability to perform the essential functions of any lower levels

· The position requires a full-time work schedule. Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any

additional hours as requested or as needed to meet business requirements.

· Establish and maintain working relationships in a collaborative team environment
