PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This position manages the day-to-day activities of the non-clinical PA and NOA technicians. This position is responsible for production, accuracy, timeliness, and personnel management.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Required Work Experience
· 1 year of experience in a health plan or managed care (Medicare/Medicaid) environment
2. 1 year of Notice of Action Supervisory experience in managed care (Medicare/Medicaid) environment Required Education
· High School Diploma or GED in field of study

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Responsible for oversight of day-to-day operations for non-clinical staff, including lead and front-line PA and NOA technicians.
· Manage pend reports and work assignments for non-clinical PA and NOA staff and communicate expectations.
· This position is the lead resource for all non-clinical PA and NOA staff, primary point person to assist and trouble shoot and/or problem solve issues.
· Escalates unresolved issues to management.
· Collaborates and works with other departments to train and education on PA and NOA processes.
· Works with management to identify process improvement opportunities and assist with implementing process change.
· Responsible for daily schedules of non-clinical PA and NOA technicians to ensure adequate coverage for all lines of business, auditing performance of non-clinical PA and NOA technicians to ensure accuracy, timeliness, meeting, or exceeding productivity standards.
· Lead (minimum) monthly team meetings, education, and training, to current and new staff.
· Responsible for staff evaluations and personnel action as needed.
· Position must be located in Arizona
· The position requires a full-time work schedule. Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any
additional hours as requested or as needed to meet business requirements.
