This position is hybrid within the state of AZ only.  This hybrid work opportunity requires residency, and work to be performed, within the State of Arizona.

Purpose of the job

  • This position is primarily responsible for coordinating and processing information relating to new and renewing group processes, in addition to assisting Sales staff with internal administrative duties.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required Work Experience
  • 3 years of experience in a health care related field

Required Education

  • High-School Diploma or GED in general field of study

Required Licenses

  • Active, current, and unrestricted AZ Department of Insurance Disability and Life License
  • Valid Arizona Driver’s License with acceptable driving record

ESSENTIAL job functions AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and complete electronic work objects to ensure internal departments receive information on a timely basis.    Ensure all required documentation is attached to work objects.
  • Generate and process disclosure packets relating to group business.
  • Coordinate internal process relating to distribution and execution of group master contracts and amendments.
  • Scan and index sales documents
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates to systems and reports
  • Maintain effective working relationship with internal and external customers
  • Demonstrate and maintain current working knowledge of BCBSAZ benefit plans, systems, procedures, forms and manuals.
  • Assist account managers with health fairs and Q & A sessions at group meetings as needed.
  • Meet quality, quantity and timeliness standards to achieve department performance goals as defined within the department guidelines.

  • The position requires a full-time work schedule.  Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any additional hours as requested or as needed to meet business requirements.
