PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Online Reputation Management Specialist is responsible for the brand’s online presence, analysis, and management of the brand’s reputation. The Online Reputation Management Specialist builds trust and brand loyalty while safeguarding the company’s reputation by monitoring the online activities of the company’s brand and sub-brands. Using a combination of public relations, social media, and technical skills, the Online Reputation Management Specialist builds a consistent reputation across all web-based channels and platforms while executing an effective SEO content strategy.

* Min. 4 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field

* Min. 2 years of experience in writing, leveraging and managing social media channels

* Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Execute online reputation management strategy by establishing policies and procedures, systems, and standards to prevent negative impacts on the company’s brand.

* Analysis and online management of company’s brand and sub-brands.

* Manage online review and rating platforms by employing working knowledge of Google ranking systems and search algorithms

* Respond to and help resolve incoming social media and other online inquiries in a timely manner, through collaboration across departments

* Develop and maintain a positive public company image through public-facing communication via social media and any other external public pages.

* Create, edit, publish, and share high-quality online reputation management content.

* Optimize company pages within each online platform to increase brand visibility.

* Collaborate with other departments to promote and market the reputation of the company’s brand.

* Closely collaborate with PR Specialist on written materials, including public-facing statements, award submissions, thought leadership pieces, and more

* Evaluate marketing campaigns to ensure consistency with the organizations brand strategy.

* Capture and analyze appropriate data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and act on information to reinforce or refocus key messages accordingly.

* Analyze and report on digital marketing performance across SEO, social media, and reputation management campaigns.

* Help manage company’s Newscenter by posting news releases, thought leadership articles and recent media coverage

* Engage with partners, media contacts and relevant groups/pages on social media

* Perform other duties as assigned.

* Working knowledge of social media & PR KPIs, web traffic metrics, and SEO.

* Proficient in listening and scheduling management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout, or similar social media

· Advanced Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
