This position is remote/hybrid within the state of AZ only


Support and drive analysis on the end-to-end health of the operation, to identify improvement opportunities within our success, metrics, and to collaborate inside and outside the team, and across the enterprise where necessary, to develop and implement new solutions for old or new challenges that support our Medicare optimization journey. Some examples could include assessing workflows across functions for efficacy and quality and cost, developing visibility and reporting (or reporting requirements) where we believe gaps exist but we don’t have the needed data points, using data to create insights that allow

us to make decisions from those insights, and staying current with CMS guidance across the operational functions to support the leadership team in staying ahead or current with guidance, changes, and considerations on the horizon.



1. Required Work Experience

· 3 years of experience in data mining and reporting

· 3 years of experience in healthcare or insurance field with an emphasis on Business Analysis

· 1 year of experience in project management

· 3 years of experience in process improvement

· 3 years of experience in quality management or operations field

1. Preferred Work Experience

· 5 years of experience in a healthcare related field with an emphasis on Business Analysis

· 5 years of experience in a research, computer science, reporting and/or statistical field

· Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, mathematics, or statistics field of study

4. Preferred Certifications

· Six Sigma Black Belt Certification or willingness to obtain certification

· Business Analyst Certification or willingness to obtain certification


· Responsible for partnering with the business operations management to develop and maintain productivity strategies and measures

· Suggest alternative methods and procedures in solving problems and meeting changing measurement and data needs

· Identify process improvements during the measurements process and bring to area management’s attention

· Analyze reports and data for aberrancies, reasonability and accuracy and provide recommendation for problem resolution to management

· Perform high level and detailed analyses on metrics to identify patterns and trends that do not support desired results

· Define and establish data measurement policies. Provide education of these policies to internal customers

· Coach and train the operations managers on the use of productivity measurement systems and related data metrics

· Translate business needs into user requirements and document them for the technical team

· Proactively identify continuous process improvements and work with team(s) to implement

· Assist operations management in defining services levels and measuring the satisfaction of customer and key influencers with selected processes

· Train, mentor, coach and challenge process owners on continuous process improvements

· Work with business unit managers and other OE Process Analysts to ensure best practices are shared across the organization

· The position requires a full-time work schedule. Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any additional hours as requested or as needed to meet business requirements.
