Purpose of the job

  • Responsible for leading Robotic Process Automation (RPA) resources through all phases of Robotic Process Automation maturity. The lead will assist in the planning, organizing, and managing the implementation of Business Partner/Customer engagements and efforts. 

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required Work Experience
  • 2 years of experience identifying new Lines of Business (LOB) candidates for RPA
  • 3 years of experience leading RPA resources
  • 3 years of experience in RPA technology and Automation Intelligence/Machine Learning technologies
  • 3 years of experience performing RPA data analysis and implementation of reporting dashboards

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Work Experience

  • 5 years of experience in computer technology and/or information systems
  • 7 years of experience in data analysis and reporting

  • 5 years of lead or supervisory experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field

ESSENTIAL job functions AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engaging business partners to bring awareness to RPA
  • Facilitate prioritization sessions with business partners
  • Manage efforts necessary to identify new Lines of Business candidates for RPA.  This requires working with management and staff in multiple departments and LOBs
  • Achieve established RPA SLAs to include ROI and Customer Experience
  • Manage and maximize BOT utilization and capacity in order to efficiently accommodate and execute production processes
  • Requirement Management - Gather necessary information to best determine RPA feasibility towards verification and validation of potential Return on Investment (ROI) using defined RPA methods and tools.  This includes decision analysis and resolution to identify the solution that not only meets business needs but also maximizes ROI.
  • Attend and back up management, when needed, at Leadership meetings. 
  • Obtain agreement from appropriate department management regarding the usability of enhancements.
  • Coordinate and oversee RPA deliverable testing to support production release implementations
  • Responsible for coordination and oversight in production asset sign off to our Business Partners
  • Lead BCBSAZ RPA staff and offshore resources
  • Report weekly status and ROI metrics to business leaders
  • Mature the RPA space while leveraging new technologies in support of BCBSAZ initiatives
  • Mentor and coach RPA technicians to identify needed skill sets and growth opportunities in order to enhance support for our business customers
  • Communicate to our business customers and the team of high-level goals as well as current issues, accomplishments, and plans
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our customers and vendors
  • Work on and coordinate special projects as requested by management
  • Provide support and back-up to the senior leadership
  • Assist management with establishing goals and providing input to performance evaluations for all RPA team members
  • Communicate openly with staff on a regular basis
  • Educate staff on corporate and department direction and goals
  • Manage 3rd party vendor and offshore relationships
  • The position requires a full-time work schedule and does support work from home.  Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any overtime as requested or needed to perform job responsibilities.

  • High PC proficiency
  • Proficient in spreadsheet, database and word processing software
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and standard code sets and their appropriate use
  • Ability to read files, file formats, workflows, and data flows
  • Deep understanding of RPA related tools to include UiPath
