Responsible for crafting engaging creative materials that connects with consumers and businesses across multiple channels, including print, television, digital, and social. This role involves various levels of creativity, including original design work, design modifications and setting things up for final production. This creative professional applies expert knowledge and hands-on experience to collaborate with internal resources to develop concepts and campaigns to drive demand, enrollments, and brand strength. This person is able to balance multiple projects at once and seamlessly contribute to multiple aspects of the company’s marketing mix. This professional shares a focus on elevating our creative work while keeping our brand top of mind, and by doing so you will have a significant role in helping us achieve that goal. This Graphic Designer reports to the Creative Director.

Level 1

  • Maintains integrity of brand across specialty as well as corporate branding
  • Manages the development of creative design
    • Types of projects include but are not limited to branding, advertising, internal communications, B2B communications, media, direct mail, e-mail, print and interactive programs/projects
  • Proactively partners with and communicates processing and printing needs to other members of creative team
  • Owns day-to-day management of projects must have excellent time management skills
  • Support client/ internal correspondence and communication
  • Support project estimates with project specialists

Level 2

  • Builds understanding of internal client’s business needs, develops recommendations and assists Creative Director with design and brand standards as well as creative direction
  • Guides and directs Level 1 designers in execution of their work
  • Manages support teams from agencies, freelancers and temp support to complete creative projects.
  • Able to present design concepts to clients
  • Perform monthly reporting regarding projects

  • Each progressive level includes the ability to perform the essential functions of any lower levels.
  • The position requires a full-time work schedule. Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any additional hours as requested or as needed to meet business requirements.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Skills / Requirements

  1. Required Work Experience
  • 7 years of experience in advertising, design, marketing and online advertising/design-Knowledge and experience with animation, front-end coding and video editing preferred
  1. Required Education
  •  High school diploma or GED in general field of study
  1. Preferred Work Experience
    • 10 years of experience in advertising, design, marketing and online advertising/design
    • 3 years of agency experience
    • Knowledge and experience with animation, front-end coding and video editing
  1. Preferred Education
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field of study (Applies to All Levels)
  1. Required Job Skills
    • Expertise in Design programs (Adobe  design programs including In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, Flash, Dream Weaver etc)
    • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; Advanced Excel skills
    • Knowledge of branding and branding principles
    • Strong writing and presentation skills
    • Exceptional organizational skills; Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent project management skills; ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
    • Proficeincy in project management software
