Salesforce Application Architect - Hybrid

Hybrid People Leaders: must reside in AZ, required to be onsite at least twice per week
Hybrid Individual Contributors: must reside in AZ, unless otherwise cited within this posting, required to be onsite at least once per week
Hybrid 2 (Operational Roles such as but not limited to: Customer Service, Claims Processors, and Correspondence positions): must reside in AZ, unless otherwise cited within this posting, required to be onsite at least once per month
Onsite: daily onsite requirement based on the essential functions of the job
Remote: not held to onsite requirements, however, leadership can request presence onsite for business reasons including but not limited to staff meetings, one-on-ones, training, and team building
Please note that onsite requirements may change in the future, based on business need, and job responsibilities. Most employees should expect onsite requirements and at a minimum of once per week.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Serves as a application architect for the CRM technology platform, also provides technical leadership on Salesforce CRM, and SQL development initiatives. Oversees the technical design and development of CRM solutions and leads the design, analysis, development, data manipulation, testing, post-implementation review, specifications, documentation and reporting based on business requirements. Applies industry best practices for application development resulting in CRM solutions that are highly maintainable, easily extensible, enable scalability, and ensure security of access and data.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Work Experience
- 5 years of experience in Salesforce CRM Application systems with regards to development, deployment, infrastructure, enhancements and support.
- 4 years of information systems design, implementation, or integration experience in programming, query design, and database development, ETL Processes and CRM solutions development
- 3 additional years of experience in the design, implementation and support of an enterprise-level applications in a complex business environment

- High-School Diploma or GED in general field of study (All Levels)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Work Experience
- Experience in computer / information technology and CRM solutions development specifically around Microsft Dynamics
- 5 years of information systems design, implementation, or integration
- 5 additional years of experience in the design, implementation and governance of an enterprise-level SQL Database in a complex business applications environment

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Extensive experience with architecture design and enhancements in enterprise class CRM solutions
- Advanced knowledge of object oriented principals, design patterns, SOA, and enterprise systems
- Design and implement the architecture and deployment of high performance, integrated web and mobile systems centerd around Salesforce
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and development teams to ensure the architecture and design meets their needs and scales with growth
- Researches and identifies innovative technology solutions that enhance the Salesforce offerings. Develops/executes plans for implementation of new technologies
- Prepare technical documentation of systems
- Communicate and collaborate with Infrastructure SMEs to design enterprise solutions.
- Drive standardization efforts for development environments, tools, and deployment procedures
- Research and implements security measures to ensure the network, applications, and data are not compromised. These measures should be applied to programming techniques/standards, architectural designs, database, Salesforce configuration, etc.
- Work closely with IT Management and project management throughout software development cycle to provide input to business requirements, deliver technical requirement and estimates, deliver status reports, and meet project deadlines
- The position has an onsite expectation of 1 day per week and requires a full-time work schedule. Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any overtime as requested or needed to perform job responsibilities

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Required Job Skills
- Proficient with developing, deploying, customizing and integrating Salesforce CRM
- Demonstrated proficiency in installing and deploying CRM Organizations
- Demonstrated proficiency in customizing and creating CRM entities
- Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and implementing business workflows and processes
- Demonstrated proficiency in using the either the CRM SDK or plugin platforms.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft .NET 3.5+ development using C#
- Create unit tests for new and existing code
- Review and understand detailed business, functional and technical requirments
- Debug and repair simple to complex defects
- Provide and present architectural designs
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL databases.
- Advanced proficiency in SSIS, Data Transformation Services, T-SQL, Redgate, stored procedure development, tuning, enterprise data modeling and schema change management.
- Strong analytical skills to support independent and effective decisions
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work with multiple priorities, sometimes under limited time constraints.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to maintain positive working relationship with others.
- Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
